World Cup

Yay, I lived to actually see India lifting the world cup.Can I even ask for more? I can die a peaceful death and go to grave.But you know how India won?

• No restroom visits during the entire match
• No changing positions even the slightest bit
• Praying hard every time the commentator raises his voice or the crowd roars
• Most of all, not interacting with folks cussing as the game progressed

Worth it all..Great job team INDIA

I make mental plans to watch tv with you, to lay on the couch along with you, to generally chit chat with you on various things

when you casually throw the bomb at me telling me

you are off to sleep now and you will wake up on time @ 2.30 in the midnight to watch the epic INDIA v/s PAKISTAN semi finals.

duhhh! what was I thinking

A mid afternoon call

from you asking me if I had lunch, if all is well with the little one inspite of your neck deep work .You have been coming home wickedly late, all you do after coming home is have dinner and crash.I couldnt help but shed a tear or two when you called.

How do you feel

when you realise that you went to the bank, did the grocery,visited a friend , all with only one ear ring?And to top it all, no one even hinted..hmmphhh&&%%#*%

I look at the clock and its only 9.30 pm

I do a little victory dance

head to toe covered in comforter, you are deep asleep and snoring!

There is something

about rolling over to the bed space of your spouse after the spouse gets out of the bed,soak in the warmth, feel your eyes just give away to sleep while inhaling the smell so specific to the spouse.

What a year 2010 has been

Found out I was pregnant ( yay)

Brand new mommy to a baby girl ( the best ever)

Totally pampered by the husband ( thats something ain't it?)

Parents visit ( complete rest for me)

In laws to visit ( sounds good)

Crazy shopping for the little one ( do I need to say anything about shopping?)
