No updates?

TH:I browsed your blog today..it looks like you haven't updated much in the recent times

ME:Ya,I coudln't think of anything to write

TH:Oh really? What happened?

ME: hmm..nothing..you didn't goof up much and thus no food for thought

Its super hot

about 90 F outside.I shower 2 times, dress up in crisp cotton,switch on the fan and sit on couch with a glass of ice cold water.
TH tosses his shirt onto the floor,hurries up the stairs and comes back with a towel around his waist.

Grrrrrrrrr...

You know you are too busy when

you serve dosa batter instead of yogurt on the table ( gasp
you realize you haven't had a bath
you wear pink flip flops one feet and black on the other
you make grocery lists while peeing
you hop on the car and drive out of the garage not realizing the unlocked door

Haha!!

A decade

since we had the first fight ever

since we realized we were missing each other without having met  at all

since we took the big step of saying YES, we love each other

I have known you from my school days, yet a decade doesn't feel like too long a time.

Doting couple

He leaves for work even before she wakes up
He does not have the habit of calling inbetween work hours
Heck, they don't even eat a meal together
She sleeps on the bed and he in the family room

and to think people look at them as a young doting couple :(

June 25th

This is the day
where loads of wishes find their way
many a phone calls
some on the Facebook wall
but nothing like when one of us say "happy birthday to you too"

I can sleep a little longer without a toddler blaring into my ears

I can have breakfast right out of my bed and not having the need to cook on my own

I can afford a luxurious shower without having to worry about what my toddler is upto

I can simply lounge around without having a worry in the world

Dinner done, dishes done, kitchen cleaned, little one in bed
ME: So, talk something
TH: What?
ME:Talk something
TH:What do I talk about?
ME:Anything, just talk to me
TH: Golden silence for 7 1/2 minutes

Prasadham in the form of thayir sadham and lemon rice in a temple

Vishu brunch at cousin's place

A friend's son is turning one tomorrow

Work from home

TH: I am working from home tomorrow

Excited ME:Wow, is it because I always tell you to?

TH: No, I have less work tomorrow
