What would be the reaction when you think you spotted a dollar bill on the walkpath amidst the grass, get super excited and scream" hey, I found a dollar, thats mine"..and as you pick it up in your hands, you see its just a piece of trash?

1.You give a sheepish smile?

2.You are thoroughly embarassed, and say oh it happens to everyone

3.You turn around to see how many people are looking at you?

4.You call names at the unknown person who trashed the pathway?

The craziness quotinet

Me: Why dont we make an India trip this year? Its been a little more than 2 years since you went.

TH:What?Thats not a reason to make India trip now..talk about a Rajinikanth movie getting released, it would make sense to go to India

Me: dont know whether to laugh or cry

When you are a novice

car driver...

1.You have the seats as forward as possible for the fear of not being able to reach the brakes

2.You donot turn on the music or th radio for fear of concentration getting diverted

3.The moon roof is not opened, nor is the a/c turned on -sounds like a luxury for a beginner

4.You double and triple check the sides before changing lanes

5.You keep looking at the side and rear view mirrors so often than what is actually recommended in the drivers license booklet

6.You start the car only after praying hard

7.You try and park the car in those assigned spaces which are in far end of the store and normally people dont prefer to park there

8.You get down and walk around the car to see if you have parked the car within the lines.

9.You come back home and call TH to tell him what a feat you have achieved and that the car is indeed safe

10.You blog about it, call your friends and brag about your achievement(?)

Drama queen

Friend to me : What, you and TH share the same birthday?

Me: yes ( evil grin at evoking a total unbelievable look)

Cousin to me: Can that even happen? you and TH being born on the same day?

Me: Yes, it does. ( double evil grin at the cousin's surprise look)

Milestone

achieved!An unplanned call to TH asking if I can drive the car to the local grocery store.He immediately says Yes..I insist -think well before you give the nod.He says nono, am sure, go ahead.I say again- new car, an inexperienced driver, are you really fine with me driving?All he says is be cool.

And thus, I ventured all alone in the new car to the local grocery store.Reaching home in an hour, I left an email to TH saying" reached home safe with the car".

How to make the man do some work

on a dull rainy day?

Zimpleeeeeee serve him some soup and bread and that will take care of everything :)

The way to go

Almost a year ago

Me: How do I look in the new dress?

TH:You look nice.

Me:Do I look a little plump from this angle?What do you think?Little did he know what he was getting into

TH:Hmm..ya I guess a little

That was the end of it for TH.He had to sleep facing the wall,eat at restaurants.

Fast forward to a day ago

As we were getting ready to goto a friend's place,

Me:How do I look?

TH:Ya, you look great ( nice to great..thats a nice change)

Me:I think I have gained a lot of weight no?

TH:What? dont be crazy..you look just fine.(the way to go dude, you got it!)

A little help ( IHS)

SHE: Can you help me with some household chores for this month? I will be late from work and it would be nice if I get some help.

HE: Ya sure darling, am here to help.What is it that you want me to do?

SHE:Clean the house, wash the vessels, fold the laundry,cook and keep the food in casserole and ya, cut the veggies for the next morning.

HE: ???^^%%$$@@####

How to make the most of a IPL telecast?

Sleep with your laptop next to you to wake up on time

Morning abltuions can wait

And if they cant wait- carry the laptop to the bathroom

Dressing up done in front of the laptop and not infront of the mirror

Breakfast and lunch are all packed to go

You dont even realise if you are wearing the same colour socks

Irrespective of getting all ready, you leave only when theres a commercial break

Cricket does make you do crazy things

Price of afternoon nap

Sink full of dishes

Loads of laundry to be done

Bath can wait

Blogging..errr..when was the last post?

Grocery-oh we could eat out for dinner

Vacuum-one more day of dirty rooms,thats ok

Dishwasher to be unloaded

Other errands to run-they can wait

aaahhh this afternoon nap is simply priceless!
